‘This is fine’ artist KC Green reaches agreement with AI startup Artisan

After criticizing a startup referred to as Artisan for misusing his work, artist KC Inexperienced — creator of the famous “This is fine” meme — mentioned he’s reached an settlement with Artisan. 

The dispute arose after the startup appeared to use a version of Green’s art to advertise its AI assistant Ava. In Artisan’s bus and subway advertisements, Inexperienced’s recognizable canine sat amid recognizable flames, however as an alternative of claiming “That is wonderful,” it declared, “My pipeline is on hearth,” whereas the advert urged folks to “Rent Ava the AI BDR.”

Earlier this month, Inexperienced posted on social media that his artwork had been “stolen like AI steals” and urged his followers to “vandalize” the advertisements in the event that they noticed them.
